Fathers Day

It' that time of year again! I can't believe it is almost Fathers Day. I have to tell you, I have the best dad in the whole world. It may have taken me a little while to figure that out when I was younger, I thought for sure I was cursed with him! When I lived in Cedar City, he, being the stud he is, used to drop me off at Cedar High my sophomore year, roll down the window and yell "Bye Pooky! I love you, have a great day!!" Oh how I hated it! I was always so embarrassed! Now I just look back and laugh thinking what a goof ball my dad really is and I wouldn't change one bit about him. You can always tell if he is in the room if you hear random cricket noises (still can't figure out how he does that) or EXTREMELY loud clapping. It's a talent!



I just have to share a fun story about my padre. A few weeks ago I got a call that one of my dads front teeth got knocked out. ( Ya know how rough those gang fights can be!) Hehe, ok not quite. Anyway, my dad never had braces as a kid and has always kind of wanted them, but never really took the initiative to actually go get them ( a pride thing I guess ) So the dentist figured since my dads teeth are crowded anyway, instead of getting a fake tooth, lets go ahead and get braces! So with little hesitation he has decided to get braces! As luck would have it, he had to have yet another tooth pulled and there were some problems. The tooth's root kept shattering. Nearly TWO horrible hours later they got all 26 pieces of broken tooth out of his mouth. My dad said his mouth was shaking and so was the dentist from working so hard. Not to mentiont they still had to get the root out from the tooth that was knocked out. As I said, lucky him! But anyway, I am super excited for my dad, I think he will be so cute with braces! When I say cute, of course I mean very masculine! I love you so much dad, have the best fathers day!
