What a special day this was for us. Dave did a beautiful job blessing our daughter this last Sunday. Another baby was being blessed this day as well and after the father was done with the blessing, my cute nephew Wade, who is 2, was standing on his dad's lap and yelled, "Yay baby!" It was hilarious! I could tell Kate and Aaron, Wade's parents, weren't sure whether to get mad at him or just laugh histerically. I love it! We had a wonderful luncheon at my in laws house following and it was fabulous. Thank you so much all of you who were able to come, it sure made it one great day seeing all of our family together. It was the first time in quite a while that all of Dave's family was together. With 8 kids in his family, all but one having a family of their own, it is quite the crowd. It was so neat seeing all the boys in the circle blessing our little Eve who did so good, not a peep.
My family has been so helpful with Eve since she has been born. My mom spent most all of last week with me helping me out and just being there for me and my dad and Karly joined up here on Saturday. At least one of them calls daily just to be sure Eve is still doing great and wish her their love. Its really great knowing she is being brought up with such loving grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins on both sides. Dave's dad bore his testimony at her blessing and made mention how blessed he is to have 8 children who are all temple worthy. And I thought boy, how many people can say that? I seriously could not have married into a better family. Each person is so unique and fun, and always setting a good example. Dave is such an amazing father. I always heard that having a daughter changes the dad and it sure does! I caught Dave saying to Eve a while back, "I am going to take you to Disney Land and you are going to be a princess!" Or even just the simple everyday comments like, "you are such a cutie! Honey, look how cute she is. Eve just did the cutest thing!" Obviously he loves the word cute. :) Well I think he is a dang CUTE dad.

How fun Sweetheart! I'm jealous! I want a little baby wabee to cuddle with all day long! I can't believe how much she has already grown! What a cutie pa tutie! Congrats on the baby blessng it sounds like everthing went really well! I love you and miss you! Are you Dave going to San Diego for Lace's wedding!? Your little Eve is so cute! I like that last picture she is so cute! Total attidtude hehe! Well thank you for the hope of a short labor! I am very nervous to be induced but also very excited and it's nice to have a set date to look forward to. It's good to hear that you had a good time that way so I have hope! Congrats on your little girl and her blessing dress is beautiful! And hey thanks for saying little body...I certainly don't feel little...more like a large hippo! It's good to see you are doing well. Congrats again!
