Finally an update

Well no baby just yet, but I have been dialated to a two and 100% effaced now for over a week. Thank you so much to everyone who came and helped Dave and I out with the beautiful gifts for our daughter. We are so excited to have her in our lives, hopefully she will be here soon! Here are some pics from my baby shower in St. George that my sweet mother and crazy sister were nice enough to throw for me (which I was puffed up like a balloon the whole trip). I have zero pics from my Salt Lake shower but I for sure am sooooo greatful for that shower with all of Dave's side of the family and few from mine. Everyone has been so generous, thank you thank you!

Yes thank you, I made these little party favors. I thought they turned out so cute!

Sam tried so much to help us with the decorating this year, but he mostly just made things a big mess and single handedly practically destroyed our nativity set.

Here is our daughters crib finally set up! I love it, I finally feel more prepared now.

These are some pics from Christmas morning. This year was a little different, it was just Dave, Sam and I and we were pretty much completely snowed in. It snowed more than a foot on us that morning and took us (or should I say Dave) more than 2 hours to shovel our drive way the next day. It was crazy but still a lot of fun. We had our own turkey dinner. Thats right! Neither of us had ever cooked a full on Turkey dinner before and it surprisingly turned out quite well. We were quite proud of ourselves. The pictures above are of Sam and his gifts. Dave wrapped up a huge dog bone and just let him go at it. He also got Sam a little BYU outfit which I thought was pretty darn cute. We'll see how Sam actually likes it on though. All in all, great Christmas and we are so greatful for all of our friends and family. Thanks for being there for us!
