My baby girl is finally here! She was born January 7, 2009 at 3:37 PM weighing in at 7'11." WE named her Evelynne Lee Bonham after her grandmothers bEVErly and JacqueLINE and of course her mommy AshLEE. You can see, she had a bit of a cone head but other than that she is absolutely perfect. Delivery went well, although I possibly fractured my tail bone and have been sitting miserably on a donut ever since. My cute mom has been a HUGE help serving me constantly and keeping me down. For my fellow mothers out there, how do you get new babies to sleep at night? Last night our little Eve kept us up from 12:30 to 7:00 this morning. I love so much being a mother but I could have never believed before now how exhausting it is. Dave is such a cute dad and so protective of his little girl. Every time a nurse or doctor came in to take Eve away for different tests, he was right there and would not let them leave without him. He was there for everything. New life is truly a blessing from heaven.

OH! That just made my whole day to see her! I have stayed away to give you and your mama some time but as soon as she leaves we are going to come bring another dinner and hold that precious angel! She is adorable and she just is beautiful! You two are great parents! We love you guys. James & Jen
I love to hear about the daddy being so protective. Dad's are SO cute with their little girls. I want to see it! I know I will eventually. Congratulations! I hear ya on the keeping you up all night...it's part of parenthood unfortunately. But so are the wondrous joys which most definitely make up for the lost sleep. :-)

She has a beautiful face. I'm so glad you were able to post. I have been checking your blog daily for the last two weeks just to see if you had her yet! Congraduations though. I've also heard that sleeping through the night is pretty hard. My neice is just past six months and is finally sleeping all through the night

Congrats Ashlee! She is so pretty! Babies are fun but I agree...they are tiring too! Kamri kept us up at night too so we just had to try really hard to keep her awake in the evening so that she'd sleep at night. It's almost as hard keeping a newborn awake as it is to get them to sleep when you want. They have a mind of their own soo soon!

You just wait though that brunnette hair is going to turn as red as an apple on a tree! You just wait and see! Tee hee!! I'm so happy for you my dear! Congrats Congrats Congrats!!!!!!!!!! I love the name too!!! We were thinkin' about naming our first daughter Evalee because that was my granny's first daughters name was and she ended up passing away a few minutes after she was born. I thought your name was beautiful! Did you name her after someone? I love you cutie pie call me if I can do anything for you guys I know i'm a littles far away but I would be there in a heart beat or i'm just a phone call away! Ok this is turning into a novel! MUAH! Give little miss Evalyn a kiss on the cheek for me!

Oh My Gosh! She is absolutly ADORABLE! I miss her so much! I will have to come see you all and bring over some of that yummy green sauce soon.

Congrats on the new baby! She is darling. Being a mom is the best. I am glad that everything went well. I hear ya on the sleeping problems-when she finally starts to sleep better the teething will begin or she will get sick....:) My son will be one this next week and he still gets up once every night so sorry to tell you that it might be a while til you get a GOOD nights sleep!
